Costume Design: NONA Short Film

A short film adapted from the Stephen King story of the same name, "Nona" chronicles the murderous fantasies of a young man, The Rat, who avenges his loneliness by inflicting his pain on others through the guidance of Nona, who encourages his killing spree. Nona, a feminine apparition who exists solely in the mind of the male protagonist, is costumed in an eery white silk slip that I constructed by hand to emphasize her unreality.

The Rat's past female love interests are linked to Nona through elements of green in their costumes--Nona wears a green necklace that I sourced secondhand, as seen in the second photo, and the other love interests wear a green bow and shirt respectively.
